El Dorado First Assembly story

Our Story

El Dorado First Assembly has a rich history of over a hundred years. The church was founded in 1921 as the Full Gospel Mission of El Dorado, and affiliated with the Assemblies of God fellowship in 1924 and changed the name to First Assembly of God. From these humble beginnings the church has had a continuous ministry in the city of El Dorado, Arkansas. In 1992, the church moved to its current location, now a multi-building campus to worship and equip believers to go out and fulfill the great commission. We are grateful for the past, but we know the best is yet to come!

100 Families will host a monthly meeting inviting all partners and stakeholders to be apart. Each meeting will highlight a community resource for a chance to learn more about them, ask questions, and build relationships. This meeting will be held monthly on the third Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m.

We are taking EFA Kids services to the streets! At the park, we'll have games and prizes as we share incredible stories from the Bible. Every attending child will be sent home with a small meal.

School Mentorship Training

What if you could change the trajectory of a child's life just by listening? What if you showing up meant whole families are saved? Our schools are in need of adults who are willing to meet with "in crisis" children for one hour every week during school. These children need support, encouragement, and the love of Jesus. Come learn more about school mentorship. Join the team and make a difference.

First Responders Appreciation Luncheon

Join us for our First Responders Lunch, a special event to honor the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to keeping our communities safe! This is a fantastic opportunity to show our appreciation and support for firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and all first responders. Serve the first responders, engage with local heroes, and learn more about their incredible work.
